Aaron Dorsett, LMFT, MFT Supervisor Candidate
Aaron is a staff therapist and Post Degree Institute Supervisor Candidate at Emerge. He has a master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University.
Before joining Emerge he was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute receiving further training and supervision in Play Therapy.
Aaron is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and aims to help client’s live life as their authentic selves. He is passionate about working with Teens and Adults in the LGBTQ+ community.

Gladys Morton, LPC
Gladys Morton is a staff therapist with Emerge. She graduated with a Master of Education in Counseling from Winthrop University. It is her passion to serve and help others attain their goals and/or improve their mental health as well as overall wellness.
Gladys applies theoretical approaches with an eclectic perspective. Gladys provides treatment to individuals, families, couples, and groups for mental and emotional health issues and relationship problems.
Gladys uses compassion, care and empathy in her individualistic approach with clients.

Hitha Srivatsan, LMFT, CCH, MFT Supervisor Candidate
Hitha Srivatsan is a staff therapist and Post Degree Institute Supervisor with Emerge. She has specialized training and skill in interviewing and diagnosing clients, then counseling them and treating any mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage and family.
She was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute. She has degrees as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapist from Converse University.

Liz Cain, LMFT
Liz Cain is a staff therapist with Emerge. She has an Educational Specialist Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
She was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute. During this time, she worked was with adolescents in a residential facility, and their families. In this setting, she began to specialize in trauma and repairing the destructive relationships and ineffective behavioral patterns within these broken families.
She also regularly works on Conflict Resolution in Relationships, as well as Anger Management, Depression, Grief, and Anxiety. She currently works with Adolescents, Couples, and Families (both traditional and non-traditional).

Precious Daugherty, LMFT
Precious Daugherty, LMFT is a staff therapist with Emerge. She has a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College.
Before joining Emerge she was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute receiving further training and supervision.
Her focus is Stress Management, Depression, Family Issues, Grief, Relationships, Anxiety, Self-esteem, she also enjoys working with Teens and Adults.

Ross Hill, LMFT-S, AADC, CS
Ross Hill is the Interim Post Degree Institute Director and staff therapist with Emerge. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Sociology from Wofford College and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University.
Before returning to Emerge he worked with Substance Use Disorders, Mental Health Disorders, and Relational Problems in an outpatient setting.
Ross enjoys working with Men's Issues, Relationship challenges (including nontraditional relationship structures), Addiction, Depression, and other Life Transitions.

Tommy Eubanks, LMFT
Tommy Eubanks is a staff therapist with EMERGE. He has a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University.
Before joining Emerge as a Staff Therapist, he was a Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute, with a focus on Adolescent Anxiety and Depression.
He has a passion for working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, and he enjoys working with Adolescents, Families, and Young Adults.

Sara Parker, LMFT
Sara Parker is the Director of Operations and a staff therapist with Emerge.
Sara has a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in History from Converse College and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is a part-time staff therapist with EMERGE.
She was a former Administrative and Clinical Fellow in Emerge’s Post Degree Institute.

Sarah Gervais, LMFT-S, RPT-S
Sarah Gervais, the Director of Play and Continuing Education, Post Degree Institute Supervisor and staff therapist with Emerge.
She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from North Greenville University and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University.
She teaches play therapy courses at Emerge and supervises clinicians in Emerge's Post-Degree Institute.
She received further training and supervision in Play Therapy while in the Post-Degree Institute at EMERGE. Sarah enjoys working with Children, Adolescents and Families.

Alyssa is a School-Based Fellow Therapist with Emerge. She graduated from Converse University with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Alyssa serves Spartanburg School District 3 students and families at Cowpens Elementary and Pacolet Elementary through a collaborative partnership for Full-service Community Schools via the Spartanburg Academic Movement.
Alyssa’s strengths include: Deliberative Consistency, Learner, Developer and Analytical.

Burt Gregory, LMFT, RPT-Candidate, CCTP
Burt is a School-Based Therapist with Emerge. She graduated from Converse College with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
Burt serves Spartanburg School Districts 3 and 7 students and families at Clifdale Middle School and Carver Middle School through a collaborative partnership for Full-service Community Schools via the Spartanburg Academic Movement.
Burt is trained in family therapy, child-centered play therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
